TV EVERYWHERE LAUNCHES DRAG AND DROP VIDEO PLAYER BUILDER

TV Everywhere has announced that its VidZapper enterprise video platform now features a drag and drop video player builder enabling users to build sophisticated video players with no coding skills in just minutes.

The system generates HTML5 and Flash and dynamic video players and support features that include:

The generated players work across all common platforms including PC, Mac, iOS and Android and on most web browsers, including IE7 which is still common in many workplaces.

ABU DHABI TRIATHLON GOES LIVE WITH TVE

The Abu Dhabi triathlon, featuring TEAM GB's gold medal winning Olympic triathlete and back-to-back European Triathlon Union champion, Alistair Brownlee will be streamed live by TV Everywhere partners 1080Media on 2nd March 2013.

Utilising TVE company VidStorer's transcoding system and global network, the event will be made available on mobile, tablet and desktop devices as well as any browser enabled TV.

The system provides both XML and M3U8 manifest files via the VidZapper video management platform, so adaptable bitrate feeds are available in real time to all viewers.

TV EVERYWHERE LINKS UP WITH OBJECT MATRIX FOR DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

TV Everywhere has announced a tie up with nearline storage experts Object Matrix to deliver scalable ‘local cloud’ media management solutions.

 The partnership sees TV Everywhere’s Mstorer media asset management system integrated with Object Matrix’ MatrixStore media storage system to enable a ‘local cloud’ solution for customers who wish to keep some or all of their assets in-house on the corporate network.

 “We’re clearly moving to a world where keeping assets in the cloud is becoming more and more acceptable,” comments TV Everywhere CEO, Iolo Jones. “But for very large files being used in the asset production process, it still makes much more sense to keep these local until the production is complete. This is where Object Matrix comes in. They have proven, highly scalable storage solutions that can cope with the massive growth brought about by ‘Big Data’.”

 TVE Everywhere’s Mstorer is a cloud based social media management system used by client such as government departments, law firms and production companies. It was used by the Mayor of London’s office to manage all the video and images for the cultural events surrounding London 2012.
